At IMC, we like things that are simple but effective. Short verses, short choruses, this is what Isaac Chan offers in "Lifelong". The artist is from Hong Kong. As far back as we can remember, it seems we've only been to Hong Kong once or twice in the history of our platform, so we can say it's an event, and we are delighted to meet this young and talented artist.
"Lifelong" is the story of a young man who wants to change. He reassures himself by telling himself that these latest failures are only a step, after all, and that they won't last for a lifetime.
A pretty acoustic folk ballad, with a touch of violin which brings a whole new dimension to the song. Lots of poetry in the lyrics and a soft, pleasant voice. The quality is obviously very high and despite a decent length of 4:15, the song felt short when it ended. But that's okay, you can always use the play button again. That's what we did. Several times. Isaac Chan is addicting.

Lyrics
Is this my lifelong story
Of watching people fall in love
Is this my lifelong never happy ending
Of singing songs to myself
No I’m not the man I used to be before
I am, I am no more
Cuz one day I will find my truth
And it’ll be lifelong
Is this a new beginning
Or another big mistake
Will I find myself walking all alone again
Or will I make this right
No I’m not the man I used to be before
I am, I am no more
Cuz one day I will find my truth
And it’ll be lifelong
Is this my lifelong story
Of watching her fall in love
Is this my lifelong never happy ending
Or will I make this right
No I’m not the man I used to be before
I am, I am no more
Cuz one day I will find my truth
And it’ll be lifelong
Cuz one day I will find my truth
And it’ll be lifelong
Cuz one day I will find my truth
And it’ll be lifelong
