There are musical encounters that do not leave you indifferent. And there, we fell in love with this strong musical personality. With a small, thin and fragile voice, Hannah Connolly has succeeded in creating an acoustic folk universe filled with tenderness, sensitivity and emotions. Coming from the small town of Eau Claire, in Wisconsin, a town with French accents where the river of the same name flows. If you are told that Bon Iver comes from there too, then you will quickly understand that there are some nice melodies being produced there. This is the case of our artist, who in "House / Home" evokes the fact that a place can no longer be called "Home" in the sense of home when a person is no longer there. True, pure, and sincere, the artist evokes the void left by a person, and the fact that you must leave and that there is nothing more to hold you here. We appreciate the simplicity of the song, which does not need dozens of instruments to convey emotions. A simple acoustic guitar, a discreet rhythm, and the emotional flow passes without any problem. What a delight!
