Few of the songs are about the homeless. I think we've only had one or two in all these years. That's why I wrote one myself in 2011.

Here is Fiona Fey, from the United Kingdom, who in "My Room" talks about being homeless. "I am skin on stone" is probably the most punchy line of this song, which is full of surprises.

Indeed, although starting very gently, it builds gradually until it becomes epic. The power is growing, line after line, and that's what we love!

Fiona's voice is gold, and her handwriting is wonderful. Very colorful, full of very poignant allusions and metaphors.

The artist put all his heart into this song. We were able to hear the live version and we can tell you that everything is true.

The emotions are still there. You can see it here:

To sum up, it looks like Fiona Fey is a great surprise. It was obvious that she would be present in our "Songs to make your day". Because it gives emotion, of course, but also hope. So that no one ever looks up again when they cross paths with a homeless person.

Added to our Main Spotify Playlist, our "Sad Songs" playlist, and played daily on Indie Music Center's Radio.
