Booshle G is from South Africa, and no joke about the title here, but it really feels like he’s living his Best Life right now. Just signed to Nettwerk, which also happens to be our favourite label. The song hits hard with fantastic lyrics, a melody that sticks like glue, and production that really wants you to stop thinking and start dancing. Strong harmonies, some solid “oh oh”s, a tempo that doesn’t mess around: everything’s in place. This one’s a serious indie-pop contender for 2025. You’ve been warned.

For years, I didn’t understand what people saw in me. I kept trying to find my place, fitting into boxes that never really worked for me. The more I tried, the more it felt off. My dad used to tell me not to compare myself to anyone, that my path was mine alone, and that maybe I should just give myself a chance. I didn’t listen. Not right away. But at some point, something shifted. Not a big moment with fireworks or some dramatic breakthrough. Just a quiet voice inside that said, “Stop waiting. Do it your way. Do it now.”

Booshle G started making music on his own, without lessons or rules. His sound comes from everything he’s lived so far, from school days to church life to moments of silence that said more than words. His songs are simple, honest, and straight from the heart.
