When I heard the falsetto in Kat Kennedy's voice, I got a little scared. I was like "oh, no, another doll with a pretty voice". It was a purely unconscious comment and I quickly regretted it when I discovered the emotional wave carried by this track.

Certainly, this type of falsetto is very present in today's music, but Kat Kennedy has a little extra: authenticity, and a sincere and heartwarming interpretation that makes all the difference.

After a breakup, the artist isolated herself in a base in Alaska, lost in her feelings, between the fact of miss the person and also the harsh cruelty of the fact that we must move forward. She then began to write and created this little jewel of beauty. With just a guitar and wonderful backing vocals hidden beneath the surface, Kat Kennedy wowed me in less than a minute. She has this sensitivity and this fragility that remind me of Etaoin, the Irish artist that you were introduced to this year and whose career is about to take off.
