It's been 3 years since we got acquainted with Drops of Indigo. But three years ago, we introduced you to a duo, made of Linda and Dabbe. Three years later, Drops of Indigo is now a 6-piece band! And the evolution, musically, is pretty incredible.

Our favorite Swedes have just released their first track as a full band, "Ten Steps Ahead". And it is successful.

The song makes us think and take some distance. How about Ten Steps Ahead?

The band says, about this new single, "I can not change the past and worry about the future is just an illusion I create in my mind. Yet it is so difficult to stay in the only state where I really can make a difference, the now."

In a context where it is currently difficult to project into anything, we all have to ask ourselves lots of questions about the past, the present, and especially the future. But we must remember that only the future cannot be controlled. But the present, which is going to influence this future, can very well be perfected to lead to an acceptable future.

With a solid melody and incredible instrumentation, Drops of Indigo has set the bar very high for their comeback. In the music industry, everyone knows that achieving mixed vocal harmonies (male and female) is a difficult exercise. And yet, Drops of Indigo shows, once again, that they have mastered their art down to the smallest detail. The harmonies are delicate and magnificent, as much as the writing and the production which has been worked to the millimeter.

If you're up for four minutes of pleasure, you'll love this new single. The guitar solo is also a delight for the ears. All that makes you want to stay in Sweden to see them live.
