Jeff Mailfert is both a gentle dreamer and a sensitive singer-songwriter. He composes to the rhythm of timely folk music, on the snowy or dusty roads that he navigates behind the wheel of his iconic orange van. His bewitching lyrics are inspired by his numerous travels and shed new light on our deepest emotions. With his guitar on his back and a feathered hat on his head, he wanders the world, following his desires and sharing his music with an audience that has grown with him.

So it's no surprise that he started touring France shortly after the release of his first EP "Let Me Travel" in 2016! And the public was immediately conquered. A year later, the launch of the duo MORGANE & JEFF propelled the young musician into the light. It allowed him to gain solid stage experience and build a devoted fanbase: in 4 years, he played more than 200 concerts during 3 tours of France and one tour of Asia (between Burma, Cambodia and Thailand). He also took part in several festivals, including Les Galettes du Monde, where he played with a full band in front of thousands of people, and opened for the French iconic band from the 90s: LES INNOCENTS.

After the release of their first EP (and two singles that now have more than 70,000 streams), Jeff decided to focus on his solo career and more intimate compositions. He took advantage of the lockdown to work on a new EP, and surrounded himself with gifted musicians like Glenn Arzel on traditional instruments, or Mathyas Vj on strings. Being as sincere and authentic as can be, he returned to the source of the music that has always made him vibrate. As the banjo and the mandolin mix with some electric guitars, a cello delivers touching and sensitive melodies.
His single, "TRECOLPAS", was released in September 2021 and has been featured on the soundtrack of the documentary "Les nouveaux nomades" directed by LES COFLOCS. A second EP is already in the works for next year! Although Jeff will still be playing his acoustic guitar, he will explore more electro and hip-hop sounds this time, to modernize his folk. One more reason - if any were needed! - to keep an eye on this promising young artist and his music!

The Everminds is an independent Rock Band living between London and Paris.

Their first debut album, expected to be released in the fall of 2020, was produced and recorded by the band in the band's studio on an SSL4000G. As far as mixing is concerned, the band has had the privilege to work with Michael Brauer (7 Grammys for Coldplay Parachutes, John Mayer, Angelica Kidjo) who mixed the song at the MHB studio in NYC. The mastering was done by Joe Laporta at Sterling sound.

“For us music is like a slow-cooked recipe, done with time and passion”.

This may not sound like an ultra-modern idea but that’s how The Everminds have created their first LP, “Song for everyone”.

Sebastien, an Architect by profession and drummer, Laurent, an electronic engineer and keyboardist and Eric a business mind with a voice and a few guitars, are 3 longtime friends, three brotherly souls that have been in pursuit of a turtle dream: re-creating an iconic analog studio to allow them to craft the album they’ve always dreamed of.

To fulfill their fantasy they acquired an old dusty SSL 4000 G console, an iconic machine from a different era, and worked to adapt it to the 21 st century. They rolled up their sleeves, transformed two garages into a little wooden state-of-the-art vintage studio, and started to record, and produce 12 songs.

Along the way they were joined by friends: Antoine Reininger, the amazing bass player without whom the foundation wouldn’t be the same; as well as the one-of-a-kind backing vocalist, Susie Webb. Both added their indelible print to the compositions.

The Everminds do not pretend to be seamless, their preference is to let transpire "track bleeds and electric tears" rather than be cursed by an unnatural clinical recording. Forget about “in the box recording", they believe emotion comes before perfection. Hence they try hard to capture the raw energy and a glimpse of down-to-earth realism in the music they compose. No vocoder, no weird noises coming from everywhere. Simple and hopefully pure emotion.
