Timothy - The Angel the World Lost

Sometimes there are songs that leave traces. Or rather ... songs that exist so that there is always a trace of someone. A trace of a loved one, that we have lost for example. For Timothy, who comes from Sweden, it means his grandmother. The release date of the song was not chosen at random, since it will mark the ten years of her departure to the clouds. The song is very simple. Words. A guitar. A voice. But what a voice! Both fragile and powerful. Fragile in the interpretation, because of course the emotion is there. Palpable. And powerful during its absolutely exquisite vocal flights. It is at this precise moment, when Timothy's voice soars ... that the long-awaited effect occurs: the thrill. And you can feel it all over your body. You feel it invading you! A big shiver as if suddenly you were in Timothy's shoes. Wow. And when you get to the end of the song, it all ends the way it started. With this guitar, alone, speechless. As if the artist had wanted to offer us this time of rest, after having undergone an intense emotional wave. He guessed correctly. It was intense. It was beautiful, and it was poetic. If you haven't felt anything, you are not human. Thank you so much Mr Timothy.

Timothy's point of view :

The 9th of December 10 years ago marks the day that my Grandmother sadly passed away. This is a song honoring my grandmother & "My childhood queen". A warming and soothing song filled with live elements, a stripped back guitar and a harmonium. The lyrics tell the story of a longing for a lost one and a remembrance of childhood, the song slowly builds into a climax point where the screams of sadness fills our minds.
