Here we are, back after a short imposed break. Indeed, the Christmas period is quite calm, and labels and artists send us very few songs. We are used to it. But we still have exciting artists to offer you, and here is one, very interesting.
Dean St. is a sibling duo coming from the USA, formed this year. Caleb Burns and Ella Burns delight us with their acoustic and natural universe. "The Sea" is from their first EP "A Long Road Home", and the song is quite surprising. A piano-voice song, at first very simple, but that will quickly offer us some chills with the voice of Caleb who gives everything, and we feel that it is sincere.
Caleb told Music for Your Heart about the story of this song : "I wrote it over the course of a very dark time in my life, a time filled with doubt, loneliness, and sin that I kept thinking I had overcome only to fall right back down into an even deeper hole than before. Because of this twisted sort of rollercoaster, sometimes when I was writing the song I felt hopeless and stuck, and other times I felt triumphant. I struggled to decide what the tone of the song should be."
