You know, at IMC, we don't like to beat around the bush and make excuses to tell you how good a song is. This one gathers many positive points that make it inevitable for us to share it with you.
First of all, it's very relatable, as it's about how someone suddenly enters your life and changes everything for the better. It can be a romantic encounter, of course, or even the arrival of a child. And in my case, it's more the latter.
Luminous, this song benefits from a very high-quality, very professional production. A clever blend of pop and folk, we are surprised to discover brass instruments at the end of the song, which, by the way, is very short. When we reach the end, we want more.
Despite a chorus with very simple and repetitive lyrics, the catchy melody makes us forget that it's too short, and we end up killing the replay button.
"The story began during my travels in Southeast Asia, where I crossed paths with someone with whom I formed an immediate and genuine connection. We spent some time traveling together, sharing great moments and experiences. But, as with all journeys, ours began to take different paths, and eventually our plans led us in separate directions. A few days after we parted ways, I found myself sitting alone, watching the sunset at a place we had visited a number of times. Same sunset, but everything felt different".
