It is in Russia that we leave to discover Silklake, a songwriter based in Moscow. He was notably one of the leaders of the Hospital band. Much more indie-rock oriented. "On Your Side" is her very first single in her new solo project, under the name Silklake.

To write "On Your Side", the artist told us that he was inspired by "An American Prayer", a song by The Doors. We better understand the somewhat retro side, but with the necessary modern touch. A real delight, which is confirmed with the arrival of the chorus: it is refreshing and heady. An ideal piece for a road trip.
