What if a music box came to haunt your day? Let's meet Ryann Barnes, who is from California. The very young artist (only 17) has just released a new single, "Bitter Rainbows", which is a catchy pop tune that will have you sing along all day, if not more.
At first glance, some may think the writing is a bit cheesy. We don't quite agree. Her writing is full of subtleties. While we are accustomed to hearing "falling in love" for more than 50 years in any pop song that speaks of love, Ryann plays with words and prefers to speak of "falling in like", in the catchy chorus of this delicious jewel. Very mature, the artist recognizes "I don't know anything about love", but given her young age, she has plenty of time to learn.
In any case, even if she claims to know nothing about love, she knows everything about music, because her vocal harmonies are mastered to perfection. Co-produced by Paige Stark & Taylor Locke, the track is like sour candy, where the innocence of the lyrics contrasts with the careful and detailed production. And with Halloween just a few days away, it's hard to refuse such a great treat.
