On October 1, 2021, we introduced Hello Darling to you as an indie-folk duo, formed by Grace Russell and Patrick Armould in Nashville. A year passed, and the duo turned into a 5-piece band!
At the end of September, they then came back to us to offer us this new single which is released today on all platforms, "Just For You". And we took a huge slap from the first listen. Catchy as hell, this song will make you want to scream your love, no matter where you are, and is able to give you wings.
Are you young? Are you in love? This song is made for you, evoking the sometimes tumultuous relationships that one can have when one is young, as the band confides: "Young love finds itself at a crossroads; stuck somewhere between head and heart".
And we find these differences in energy in the song, sometimes soft and soothing, and sometimes completely explosive and powerful.
"Just For You" is literally like fireworks in your ears and a true folk-rock masterpiece that will keep you singing along for days, if not weeks.
