In early April, we introduced you to Josh Savage with his anthemic single "Young Fools". And our German is back today with this new single, "In Too Deep", in a much calmer and deeper style.
Our artist, who had the chance to tour with Kodaline (which is just our favorite band of all time), offers us an intimate performance in this new track. The artist explores the sometimes strange states of mind in which we can find ourselves when we fall in love, as he confided to us: “Have you ever fallen in love? Isn’t it absolutely terrifying? Opening up wholeheartedly, the vulnerability of exposing yourself to potential hurt past the point of no return. And you’re like, shit - she got me.”
As if trapped in his thoughts, Josh Savage indulges a little more in-depth on this song than he did on "Young Fools". And this register of emotions suits him very well. His voice is perfectly mastered, the intensity is controlled with exceptional precision: never too much, never too little.
What has us most is the relevance of the writing and the fact that Josh is constantly giving new directions to his creativity. As if he wrote with his heart and soul. Well, not "as if", that's what he does. On a catchy melody and a production pushed to perfection, one can only hope that Josh reaches a wider audience.
Added to our Main Spotify Playlist, our "Feeling Lost" playlist, and played daily on Indie Music Center's Radio.
