Dylan Dunlap - Crave

November 02, 2022

It was in 2019 that we met Dylan Dunlap, thanks to "If That's Alright". About this song we wrote at the time: "Remember his name because Dylan Dunlap could surprise you in the future. This song has huge potential. Watch him closely!".

Three years later, the song has nearly 50 million streams on Spotify!

Then he came back to see us in March 2020, at the dawn of the first lockdown with "Who Would Have Thought" which now has more than 10 million streams.

Yes, we were right 3 years ago, when we bet on Dylan Dunlap. In the meantime spotted by our friends from Alexrainbirdmusic, signed to the excellent label Nettwerk, everything succeeded. He has just passed a million monthly listeners on Spotify.

At the same time, Dylan has always given his time and energy to support noble causes and has helped a lot in raising awareness around mental health and has notably helped Global Citizen, Autism Rocks, LA's Children's Hospital, and many other organizations.

We are proud to have been able to introduce you to this little chrysalis which has become a magnificent butterfly in such a short time. And it is with undisguised pleasure that we are delighted to tell you about his new single "Crave", which will speak to you if you are a little lost at the moment in the tumultuous world around you.

Very cinematic, with Coldplayesque vibes as we like them, "Crave" is an alternation of folk parts with just a warm voice and a sublime acoustic guitar, and powerful and perfectly orchestrated parts. The electric guitar in the first chorus was the goosebumps trigger for us. What about you?

The song continues to grow in the second verse with punchy drums and a grand structure, punctuated by a small break. The bridge is one of those quiet parts that Dylan has the secret to. This is where the emotional sensitivity of his vocals is revealed. Before the last chorus with choirs that will make you capsize.

Congratulations pretty butterfly! And thank you for continuing to surprise us and bring us strong emotions.

Reach out to Dylan Dunlap
