Brother Ryan - Broken Love

January 06, 2021

As you can imagine, at Indie Music Center, we've already heard thousands of voices. This is what happens when you listen to music 10 hours a day. But there are voices that mark us more than others. If you like Gavin James, you'll love Brother Ryan and Robby's voice. The song explores our deepest feelings during a relationship. Give up or not? The questions that cross us are sometimes unexpected and strange. But you have to deal with it. With a breathtaking vocal performance, Brother Ryan takes us into his folk universe, tinged with magnificent violins, for a very emotional result. We loved it as soon as we heard him sing, and from start to finish. Starting 2021 with such an incredible voice portends great musical discoveries. And we can't wait to see what Brother Ryan has in store for us next! And just for the anecdote, they released a song called "Shelter" in 2018. It's also the title of a song from The Satellite Station and it's the most read article on Indie Music Center in 2020. Also , the song got over 200K streams on Spotify. So let's wish this band the same success. And not only for their "Shelter" track, of course! This band is really underrated and I would be very thankful if you could please share their work with your friends, family, coworkers, and why not your boss, as usual.

Included in our "Indie Folk" playlist, and of course, you will now hear this amazing track on the Indie Music Radio.

Brother Ryan's point of view :

Broken Love is about a familiar place that anyone who has been in love will recognize. It's a snapshot of the mundane, internal conversation we have with ourselves countless times during the duration of a relationship. Don't give or give up on broken love. It's all broken, but there is a beauty in that. This song explores it.
